The view from cottage of snow clad mountains was mesmerising.staff is very polite and helpful, enjoyed delicious food and photographing coloursful birds in the morning . Yamunotri trek starts just from here and it’s a beautiful trek.

Yamunotri Resorts is the best available place to stay when you are to Yamunotri. This is located next to the Helipad at Kharsi (Jankichatti). In fact the helipad is in the front yard of the resort.
The rooms are spartan, clean and yet sufficient to qualify for a lodge status. The breakfast is traditional and vegetarian. The have a time for the meal to be served and its best to come in time. Beds are clean and you have electricity when you need it.
